It's a track we picked out as one of our favourites when the album came out recently, so we're thrilled that it's now a single. As well as having a great title, You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do What You're Told) exudes top-tapping greatness, proving that the Stripes are just as good as they ever were.

Marc Bolan
It's a sad anniversary but one that has reminded us again what a great influence Marc Bolan was, and continues to be even though he's now three decades gone. If you've seen the TV documentaries this last week you might be thinking of adding some pre-White Swan Bolan to your collection. We've been doing some digging and unearthed some fabulous Tyrannosaurus Rex MP3s including live sessions, demos and even some John's Children. Bang a gong for the early stuff.

It was also 30 years ago that a bunch of London teenagers proclaimed there was No Future. Now they're 'Fat, Fifty and Back' and things have never looked rosier for the Sex Pistols. Let's be honest. They were never the bad musicians that we were led to believe. They were canny, played well, captured Britain's mood, hijacked the flag and we loved every minute of it. Relive 1977 before it's too late.

Are You Trying to be Lonely? stormed the singles chart this week, and as there was so much interest in brother Lewis we wrenched his previous work from him, Billion Pound Project - and what a work it is! Featuring guest spots from Keni Burke, Loleatta Holloway and Bettye Lavette, it's exactly the modern soul classic that we thought it would be after we heard that Mr. Weller had been blown away too.
